Hi, my name is Jenny Burghardt and I’m so excited to be a part of the Fit4Mom West Knoxville team! I’m from right here in Knoxville, but just moved back about 3 years ago after 10 years in South Carolina. I graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) with a degree in Communication Studies, got married and moved to Aiken, South Carolina where my husband and I lived, worked, and played {biking, running, hiking, and doing anything we could outdoors} for the next seven years.

While in Aiken I worked in marketing in the healthcare industry, and then switched over to be the tourism director and got to show off our sweet town! In 2016, our daughter, Ruthie, made me a mom. I had the privilege of loving her, singing to her, and reading to her for 35 weeks in my womb until she was unexpectedly stillborn on October 17, 2016. Her sweet life and death rocked my world, but it has also provided so many gifts--one of which was being abundantly cared for by an amazing community of friends, neighbors, and family.

The next year my precious son, Jones, was born perfectly 3 days before Ruthie’s first birthday. A year later we were back in Knoxville, and we now have another adorable daughter, Poppy. More than anything I am so honored to be a part of the Fit4Mom community so I can walk through life with these amazing moms who come out every day to make themselves better, who provide a positive example for their littles, and who are there for each other in the good, the bad, the heartbreaks, and the joys of motherhood.
